My path into Counselling began during my 16 years in education. I first earned a BA (Hons) in Professional Studies in Childhood and Youth, which inspired me to pursue further training. This led to my completion of a Level 5 Diploma in Counselling and Theory.
As a person-centred and integrative counsellor I am dedicated to fostering a warm, inclusive, and confidential space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and challenges freely.
My approach is empathetic, non-judgmental, and compassionate, ensuring that you feel supported throughout your personal journey of self-exploration and growth. You will always have the opportunity to set the pace of our sessions together.
I have primarily worked with children and young adults, helping them navigate a range of issues, including anger management, low self-esteem, anxiety, stress, panic attacks, family dynamics, depression, bullying, negative thoughts, trauma, LGBTQ+, suicidal ideation, self-harm, and sexual abuse. Additionally, I have supported individuals coping with grief, loss, and terminal illnesses.
With a gentle and caring approach, I assist clients in working through trauma, expressing emotions, and overcoming personal challenges. My goal is to empower you to heal, grow, and thrive. I believe that committing to counselling is an investment in your future and well-being.
I am a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) an ethical framework.
